An original 1960's oil painting on board framed with rear label attributing the work to G. Pfyffer. Storm clouds passing over an Essex landscape with rainbow to the left and a village church steeple visible between the trees. Professional use of colours and shadow to convey a passing daytime storm. There is some craquelure on the painting which adds a certain depth to the work.
The framed painting measures 12.5" (31.5cm) tall x 16.5" (42cm) wide overall with the oil on board painting (approx. 10x7 inches) sitting off-centre in the frame
